I'm back after a long absence. Nothing serious, just Busy, busy!! Work on our house is progressing. At some point, I'll post photos. In the meantime, after a little conversation with one of my favorite, creative bloggers, Carol of thepolkadotcloset.com, I decided to work on a picnic basket and make it french chic!!!
Does this happen to you? When I am looking for something as I yard/garage/tag sale, it just pops up. That's what happened with this basket. I spoke with Carol and found this basket two days later. It's in such beautiful condition so all I did was paint the lid, transfer a beautiful design from The Graphics Fairy, and decoupage copied sheet music on the inside. Very quick and easy!!!
Oh, that is a great basket!!! What a find, that happens to me all of the time, I wonder if we pass things up, then when someone mentions something we have it in the back of our minds to look for it?? Great job, enjoyed our telephone chat!

Girlfriend, you have been so busy, I keep thinking I am going to see a blog post, show us what you have been remodeling! Hope all is great. My son comes to visit on Friday for a week, yippee. He is down to do food tasting, marriage license and get wedding bands!

Love your picnic basket. It's wonderful.
ReplyDeleteThat happens to me all the time. I start looking for things and they just appear. Isn't it wonderful? Nice re-do on the picnic basket.
ReplyDeleteThis is so neat! I love a good picnice ... especially with an awesome backet!
ReplyDeleteYour picnic basket turned out beautifully. I love Karen's graphics too. I do find things a lot when I have something in mind, but too often I see something interesting, but don't buy it because I don't know what I could do with it, then I see and idea and kick myself for not buying it!
ReplyDeleteI'd love it if you linked this to my new linky party, "What We've Accomplished Wednesdays."
Have a great weekend!
Deborah
Great idea on the picnic basket. I had a similar one I sold and your idea would have worked wonderfully on it : )
